How can I use it?

Kitchen Cares is great to have on hand for everyday jobs such as:

• Kitchen benches – spray and wipe as part of your everyday clean-up
• Basins and sinks – an easy way to freshen frequently used surfaces
• General household surfaces – for quick wipe-downs around the home
• Greasy areas – spray onto the area, leave for 2–5 minutes and wipe with a damp cloth. Repeat as required

What is a Hydrosol?

A hydrosol is the aromatic botanical water produced during the steam distillation of plants.

At Hinu Ora, we distil Kānuka to create our own Pure Kānuka Oil. During this process, steam passes through the Kānuka plant material, capturing its aromatic compounds. As the steam cools and condenses, the essential oil separates, leaving behind the beautifully aromatic botanical water known as a hydrosol.

We believe in making the most of what our Kānuka provides. Rather than letting this valuable part of the distillation process go to waste, we bottle it and give it another purpose.

For Kitchen Cares, that means a simple Kānuka-based spray that's easy to incorporate into your everyday home-cleaning routine.

How to Use

For everyday cleaning, spray directly onto a suitable surface and wipe with a clean, damp cloth.

For greasy surfaces, spray onto the area and leave for 2–5 minutes before wiping clean with a damp cloth. Repeat if required.

Always test on an inconspicuous area first if you're unsure whether the product is suitable for a particular surface.
